Sturbridge Oatmeal Cookies

unbleached all-purpose white flour

oatmeal

Cream sugar and butter together. Then add eggs. Beat well. Combine flour, oatmeal, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture. Then add vanilla and raisins. When mixture is well combined, roll dough into 1" balls with hands.

Place on a greased cookie sheet and press down slightly with two fingers. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.

For the 2 cups of flour, it is recommended to use 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour, and 1 cup white flour.
