Buttery Bread Dressing

poultry seasoning

-or- 1/2 tsp dried thyme, majoram or sage

onion, minced

parsley, snipped

(4 oz) mushrooms, sliced

chicken broth to taste

Combine bread crumbs, poultry seasoning, celery seed, pepper and salt. In large skillet, melt butter. Add onion and simmer until tender but not brown. Add mushrooms also. Add bread crumb mixture and parsley to butter, onion, and mushrooms. Heat well. Add enough chicken broth to make desired consistancy. Bake in 350° oven for about 30 minutes.
