In large bowl combine oats, flours, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice and salt. Stir in buttermilk, pumpkin, oil and egg. Mix well. Fold in raisins.

Grease muffin cups or line with paper baking cups. Fill 3/4 full.

Bake in a 400°F oven for 18 to 20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
