Mix all ingredients except meat until well blended

Add the meat to the mixture and blend well. Do not over-mix.

Form into 1 1/2 oz. balls and brown in TWO 13x9" baking pans in a 450° oven for about 10 minutes, then flip the meatballs and bake for another 10 minutes.
(ALTERNATIVE: fry in batches in a frying pan until browned).

Mix gravy ingredients in a Dutch Oven on the stove until hot, and then add the meat balls to the gravy mix. Bake, covered, for one hour at 350°.

Serve with mashed potatoes
Recommend using fresh whole wheat bread crumbs, by running 2-3 slices of bread through a blender.
